Current Dispatch Issues

CANADA DELAYS: All mail being sent from the UK to Canada is facing severe delays because of the on-going impact of COVID-19 and record volumes of traffic being received in Canada. We are processing the mail as normal in the UK, but delays are taking place once the mail reaches the Canadian border. As a result, we are unable to advise on likely delivery times.

For all USA Customers, we are experiencing major delays in shipments to the US. At the moment it is taking up to 6 weeks for items to arrive.

Mail and parcels are being moved around the USA and managed through many international mail centres across the country. This is outside of the normal operating procedures, and is so the United States Postal Service (USPS) can manage the very high volumes.
Chicago – were experiencing a backlog and have now cleared their export mail and are up to date. However, they are now focusing on moving military freight and USPS are now redirecting flights to JFK for international items. This is currently resulting in an additional 7 – 10 days for items sent via Chicago.
Customers should expect delays across the USA, some are significant as USPS continues to deal with heavy increases in volumes.

The safety and wellbeing of our customers and people is our number one priority, and as part of our response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), I wanted to let you know some of the ways that we will ensure your safety whilst we all deal with this situation.

We’re always open

Blooming Oils is situated in one of the most remote parts of the United Kingdom. We are 2 miles from the nearest village and half a mile from our next-door neighbours and have adopted a farm gate policy.  As a farm we are used to dealing with bio-hazards – none of which have ever managed to reach our farm.  Whilst we don’t yet know the best protection against COVID-19 (other than isolation and hand washing), we will follow all guidelines issued by HM Government.

Regardless of how the situation develops, we’ll continue to remain open for business and as long as postal and shipping companies stay in operation – so will we.

Shipping Delays

If shipping issues arise either through carriers’ problems or restrictions on travel or international shipping, we will do our best to keep you updated with information from delivery carriers.

We will be keeping a very close eye on research into which essential oils may prove to have an effect against the COVID-19 virus and in the meantime, we have written a blog entry to help everyone stay informed about the current situation regarding essential oils and COVID-19. You can find it here
